Ok , surely not all of you know I am Brazilian but having that said , I would like to blog about something of my own culture .....brazilian carnival , its a huuuuuge party that shuts the country down for at least 6 days .

During Lent, Roman Catholics are supposed to abstain from all bodily pleasures, including the consumption of meat. There are lots of videos of 2008 Brazilian Carnival in You Tube , however ...bad quality ones ,if you wanna see good images , access the links below , its from our main local TV channel - Rede Globo ...be prepared to see some reporters speaking portuguese but good quality video worths it .
These videos are the best shots of first and second day of Carnival in Rio de Janeiro , I may post more videos , 2008 school of samba champions , but only if I find good stuff , specially Sao Paulo( my home town) 2008 winner Vai - Vai ...
And sure , I am gonna blog way more brazilian culture stuff along the year .
